I accidentally found out that “bombie” is actually a real word:
noun : an unexploded bomblet; “unexploded bomblets known in Laos as `bombies’ caused farmers to fear cultivating their fields”
And if you don’t know what a bomblet is:
noun: one of a number of small bombs usually contained in a cluster bomb and released in midair.
And at this point if you can’t guess what a cluster bomb is, then you must be very lucky. Simple minded people incapable of complex thinking always end up being happier than us endlessly brooding misanthropes.
Anyways, what’s important is that I made up a word that ended up having the exact connotation as what I originally intended (nevermind the Laos part).
A bomblet’s whole purpose of existence is to explode. So an unexploded bomblet must be the most bored and depressed little thing in the world. On the other hand, it carries all the mechanisms necessary for creating disaster. It seeks to vent. It looks benign and silent, but lethal if invoked.
But relax, currently this bombie is meditating in deep sea. The endless volume of sea has sedated it, and it is actually enjoying the view of the waterworld. Venting is merely blowing some bubbles at this point. Ooo…Ooo…….
